Instructions: In a large bowl, cover prunes with tea and let stand 12 hours.
In a large saucepan cook prunes and liquid over low heat for 15-20 minutes until prunes are plump. In a large saucepan, bring vinegar, sugar and spices to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Add prunes and liquid and simmer 5 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, pack hot prunes into hot jars and pour over hot syrup. Cover and seal. Let mature 1 week before using. Makes about 1 litre.
