3 med onions sliced
1 sm cabbage head cut in wedges
1 x corned beef brisket - (3 to 4 lbs)
1 cup apple cider
1/4 cup brown sugar - (packed)
2 tsp grated orange peel
2 tsp prepared mustard
6 whl cloves
Instructions:
Instructions: Place onions and cabbage in crockery cooker. Trim fat from brisket; place meat atop vegetables. Stir together cider, brown sugar, orange peel, mustard and cloves; pour over meat. Cover; cook on LOW-heat setting for 8 to 10 hours.

Garnish platter with apple rings. Pass mustard; if desired.

This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
