Instructions: Quarter, core and shred the cabbage. Place into a large pot. Add the onion, apple, prunes, garlic and spices. Mix thoroughly. Add 1/2 cup water and cover with a lid. Cook over medium heat for 2 hours. Stir frequently. Add water if needed.
