1 lb rigatoni pasta
1 tbl vegetable oil
1 lb hot Italian pork sausage casings removed
1 lrg onion thinly sliced
3 can Great Northern beans - (15 oz ea) undrained
1 bn broccoli cut into florets
1 can ready-to-use chicken broth - (14 1/2 oz)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions:
Instructions: In a soup pot, cook the pasta according to the package directions; drain, rinse, drain again, then set aside in the colander.

In the same pot, heat the oil over medium-high heat and add the sausage and onion. Saute for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the sausage is no longer pink and the onion is tender.

Add the beans, broccoli, broth, garlic powder, and salt; mix well. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.

Add the pasta and cook until warmed through and well combined with the sauce.

This recipe yields 4 servings.
