3 x (8 oz) packages frozen spinach
2 pkt dried vegetable soup mix
1 can water chestnuts, chopped
1 sm sweet onion
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp lemon juice
2 cup sour cream
2 cup mayonnaise
Instructions:
Instructions: Thaw spinach and squeeze in a colander to drain thoroughly. Mix with remaining ingredients (except bread) and refrigerate for at least 3 hours to allow flavors to blend. Hollow out pumpernickel loaf and spoon in mixture to fill loaf. Serve with an assortment of crackers or small pieces of pumpernickel.

Refill loaf with more dip as needed.
