Instructions: In large soup pot, heat turkey ham, potatoes, and carrots with 2 T. water for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Add 8 cups water, chicken bouillon granules, and salt. Bring to boil. Add split peas; stir. Reduce heat; simmer until split peas are tender, 45 minutes to 1 hour.
