Instructions: Boil water and slowly add cornmeal. Cook 5 minutes or until very thick.
Cool til "warm". Beat in eggs one at a time. Add salt and milk. Preheat oven to 350 and preheat wrought iron skillet. Melt a couple of tablespoons of bacon fat in pan, add cornmeal mixture and return immediately to oven. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or til knife comes out clean. Email this Recipe:
