6 x Fresh pears
1/2 cup Raisins
1/4 cup Brown sugar
1 tsp Lemon peel -- grated
1/4 cup Brandy
1/2 cup Sauterne wine
Instructions:
Instructions: Peel and core pears; cut into thin slices. Mix raisins with sugar and lemon peel. Arrange alternately with pear slices in slow-cooking pot. Pour brandy and wine over. Cover pot and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours. Spoon into serving dishes, allow to cool. Sprinkle with macaroons. Serve plain or topped with sour cream.
