Instructions: Sift together flour,soda, and salt. Cream the butter and the sugars. Blend the eggs, water, and vanilla.

Add the dry ingredients to the wet. Refrigerate for 2 hours.

The recipe calls for Rockwood mint wafers, but I cant find them anymore. So I use Andies Candies. I cut them in half. Enclose each piece in about 1 tsp of dough. Bake 10-12 minutes at 375 .

Makes about 4 1/2 doz.
