Instructions: In 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat, in 2 tablespoons hot butter, brown steaks on both sides. Use tongs to turn them.
Cook until of the desired doneness, about 3 minutes per side for rare. Remove steaks to a large warm platter and keep warm.. In the same skillet over medium heat, melt remaining butter. Add the sliced mushrooms together with salt and pepper and cook, stirring, until mushrooms are just tender. Stir in wine, scraping to loosen brown bits from bottom of skillet. Pour mushroom and wine mixture over steaks; garnish with chop- ped parsley and serve immediately. Serves 4 Email this Recipe:
