Ingredients:

1/4 cup freshly chopped parsley
1/2 lb mushrooms, sliced
1 tbl butter
Porterhouse, T-bone or rib steak, 3/4 to 1 inch thick
Instructions:
Instructions: Place parsley, mushrooms, and butter in 1-quart casserole. Microwave, covered, on High 2 to 3 minutes, or until mushrooms are tender. Set aside. Preheat microwave browning grill in microwave oven on High 4-7 minutes, depending on size of browning grill. Cut away extra fat around edge of steak; slit into fatty edge at about 1-inch intervals to prevent curling during cooking. Do not salt before cooking, as salt tends to dehydrate the meat. Quickly place steak on preheated grill. Microwave, uncovered, on High 2 minutes. Turn steak over. Microwave 1-2 minutes more, to desired doneness. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Spoon mushroom sauce over steak.

Makes 1 to 2 servings.
