500 gm fresh asparagus spears
3 tbl mayonnaise
2 tbl sour cream or yoghurt
1 tbl seeded mustard
1 tbl fresh dill, chopped
1 tbl fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbl capers, rinsed and finely minced
shavings of parmesan cheese
Instructions:
Instructions: Trim the bottom ends of the asparagus.

Steam, poach or microwave the asparagus until just tender. To microwave, place the spears on a plate, pointed tips inward, sprinkle over 1 teaspoon of water and cover with plastic wrap. Cook on high for approximately 2 minutes.

Meanwhile, make the sauce, mix all the remaining ingredients together until smooth.

To serve, drizzle the sauce over the warm asparagus, top with shavings of parmesan cheese and black pepper.
