2 x shallots sliced thin
Salt to taste
Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
1 lb haricots verts cleaned
Instructions:
Instructions: Heat a large saute pan. When the saute pan is hot, add the olive oil. Add the shallots and saute until soft, about 3 or 4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Add the green beans and saute for 2 minutes. Add the water. Cook for 4 more minutes, or until beans are al dente. Season with salt and pepper.

This recipe yields 4 servings.
