Instructions: Everybody loves steamed puddings. I know I do they always make me think of the ones my mum makes to have after the Sunday roast. I love them with lots of custard!

Im going to give you a superb spottier dick pudding followed by the basic steamed pudding recipe with some pukka variations. These are really easy to make and always go down well no matter who you are entertaining. Great with custard mascarpone or vanilla cream (qv vanilla cream). You must serve your pudding whole at the table steaming hot and drizzled with your topping. Its the only way to serve it.
