Instructions: Steaming vegetables has distinct advantages over cooking them in boiling water. More of the precious nutrients are retained and more texture colour and flavour too. Its a particularly good method to choose when as in the recipe for Mixed vegetable curry you want to cook or partly cook several types of vegetables at once.
