Instructions: 1. Sprinkle chicken pieces with poultry seasoning and salt ; set aside.
2. Coat a dutch oven with cooking spray; add oil. Place over medium high heat until hot. Add half of chicken pieces; coo 6 minutes, turning to brown on all sides. Remove chicken from pan; set aside. Add remaining half of chicken pieces to pan; cook 6 minutes, turning until brown on all sides. Remove chicken from pan; set aside. Add onion to pan; saute 3 minutes or until browned. Add flour and browning sauce; cook 1 minute stirring constantly. Gradually add water and bay leaf, scraping pan to loosen browned bits. Return chicken to the pan; bring to a boil.
