28 gm plain flour
1 x salt and pepper
112 gm carrotspeeledandcubed
112 gm onions peeled and sliced
56 gm mushrooms washed and sliced
196 gm can of tomatoes
500 ml beef stock
Dumplings
112 gm selfraisingflour
56 gm suet chopped
Instructions:
Instructions: Cold water to mix

Method

1. Flour steak well and season with salt and pepper.

2. Place in l litre casserole dish add vegetables and stock stir well.

3. Place in oven.

Make Dumplings

4. Sift flour into a bowl stir in suet and herbs mix to stiff dough with water.

5. Divide into 68 portions and shape inte balls.

6. Add to stew halfway through cooking time.

small oven: 160 degrees C approx 3 hours PREHEATED bottom shelf
fan oven: 150 degrees C. approx 3 hours COLD START
