Instructions: Sour cream or unsweetened whipped cream (optional)
In saucepan combine rhubarb, sugar, water, lemon juice, cinnamon, ginger and cloves. Heat just to simmering. Cover and simmer until rhubarb is very tender, about 5 minutes. Cool slightly. Divide berries among 4 dishes or stemmed glasses and spoon warm sauce over. Top with sour cream or whipped cream to serve. Raspberry variation: Replace a portion of the strawberries with one (6-ounce) package fresh or frozen raspberries. Email this Recipe:
