Instructions: Thinly slice 1 1/2 pints of strawberries; reserve remainder for garnish. In lg bowl, combine sliced strawberries & sugar; mix well & set aside until sugar dissolves. Meanwhile, soften gelatin in water, then place in saucepan over low heat. Stir until gelatin dissolves. Add gelatin & lemon juice to sugared strawberries. Whip cream until stiff; fold into strawberry mixture. Chill until mixture mounds when dropped from a spoon. Pour into pie crust. Chill until set, about 4 hours.
