Instructions: Combine strawberries, sugar and Grand Marnier in a bowl. Stir and refrigerate for a couple hours.
Once the berries are ready, and you are ready for dessert, combine the egg yolks and sugar in the top of a simmering double boiler and whisk constantly until the mixture starts to thicken and turns a pale yellow. Pour in the wines and increase the temperature of your double boiler to almost boiling. Beat the egg mixture constantly until it doubles in volume and is thick and light. This could take up to 10 minutes. Serve the strawberries over a generous scoop of ice cream and top with the Sabayon. Email this Recipe:
