I Mix flour salt and suet together in a basin 2 Add sufficicllt cold water to make a pliable dough 3 Turn onto a floured board knead lightly 4 Use as required Swiss Roll 2 eggs 56g caster sugar 56g plain flour pinch of salt 2tbsp jam Method 1 Whisk together eggs and sugar using a rotary or electric mixer until thick and creamy 2 Carefully fold in sieved flour and salt 3 Place mixture into a greased and lined Swiss roll tin. Bake in preheated oven 4 When cooked turn out onto a piece of greaseproof paper sprinkled with caster sugar. 5 Spread jam evenly over sponge and roll up 6 Trim edges if necessary servings: 68 portions small oven: 210 degrees C approx 810 mimltes PREHEATED middlc shelf fan oven: 200 degrees C approx 810 minutes PREHEATED Email this Recipe:
