Ingredients:

Amount	Ingredient
1/2 cup	Soft shortening
3/4 cup	Sugar
1 x	Egg
1 tbl	Milk or cream
1 tsp	Vanilla or lemon extract
1/4 cup	Flour
1/4 tsp	Baking powder

Instructions:

Instructions: Mix together shortening, sugar, and egg. Stir in milk and extract. Sift together and stir in flour, baking powder, and salt.

Chill dough. Roll thin (1/16"). Cut out cookies with cookie cutters. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

Frost and decorate.
