3 tbl loose tea leaves such as
Earl Grey, jasmine, English-breakfast
Instructions:
Instructions: Wrap tea in a 9- by 9-inch piece of cheesecloth, four layers thick. Tie with a long piece of kitchen twine to make sachet. Place sachet in gallon jar with end of twine hanging out of jar. Fill jar with cold water. Cover, and place in sun until brewed to desired strength, about 4 hours.

Remove and discard sachet. Chill tea in refrigerator before serving.

This recipe yields 1 gallon.
