Mix pudding and milk according to package directions. Break cake in pieces. Mix pudding, pineapple, cherries, coconut, and whipped topping. In a large clear container or parfait glasses, layer the cake pieces and the other ingredients. Top with pecans. Serve chilled with a large ladle or spoon.
