Instructions: Drain cherries, saving juice. Mix sugar, salt and cornstarch. Heat juice and gradually add sugar mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick and clear.
Cool. Add cherries and pour into unbaked pie crust. Dot with butter pieces. Cover with top crust. Bake at 425 degrees for about 40 minutes or until crust is brown. Email this Recipe:
