Instructions: Shape ground beef into 12 patties. Place a slice of onion and a tablespoon chili sauce on six of the patties. Put another patty on top, and pinch the two edges firmly together. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Broil hamburgers in broiler or in skillet. Toast both halves of buns; place hamburger in hot toasted buns. Serve while hot.
