Instructions: Combine butter with egg, vanilla and 1/2 C. powdered sugar. Beat until fluffy. Blend in flour and nuts. Make cookies by shaping 1 Tbsp. dough around 1 unwrapped chocolate kiss. Place on cooky sheet about 2" apart and cook at 350 for 10-12 minutes, until firm. Should not brown! Roll in powdered sugar & cool. May need to roll in powdered sugar, again, when cool.

Makes about 3 doz. cookies.
