Instructions: Combine crust ingredients; mix well and press firmly into the bottom and 1/2 inch up the sides of a 9" springform pan.
Beat cream cheese with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Gradually add 1 cup sugar, mixing well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Stir in 1/3 cup amaretto; pour into prepared pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. For topping, combine sour cream, sugar, and amaretto; mix well and spoon over baked cheesecake. Bake at 400 degrees for five minutes. Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate 24-48 hours before serving. Garnish with almonds or chocolate if desired. Email this Recipe:
