1 cup scalded milk
1 pkt dry yeast
cup lukewarm water
tsp. Sugar
cup shortening
cup sugar
2 x well-beaten eggs
4 cup flour
Instructions:
Instructions: Let milk cool to lukewarm. Add yeast to lukewarm water, and sprinkle sugar over top; do not stir.

Cream shortening, 1/3 cup sugar, and eggs. Add yeast and egg mixture to warm milk and mix.

Sift 4 cups flour (I dont sift) with 1 tsp. Salt. Add half the flour to yeast mixture, using mixer. Stir in remaining flour with a spoon. Cover and let rise til doubled. Place in refrigerator until ready to use.

When you are ready to use it, let it come to room temperature. Knead lightly and then shape into rolls. Let rise 30 minutes. Bake at 375 15 to 20 minutes on lightly greased cookie sheet.
