4 cup defatted low-sodium beef broth
(sub: chicken, veg, or pork-bone broth)
2 cup water
2 x thin carrots sliced
1 x leek chopped
1 x kohlrabi frenched
(cut into long thin strips like Fries)
(substitute: potatoes and cabbage)
1/2 cup brown rice or more to taste
1 cup diced cauliflower approximate measure
celery salt
pepper
Instructions:
Instructions: Add everything to a sauce pan. Bring to a simmer; reduce heat and cook until vegetables are tender (20-30 minutes). Steep until the flavors have blended (about 20 - 30 minutes).

Can be made in a crockpot on low for 6-8 hours.

NOTES : This is a base soup, meant to be augmented by scraps and leftovers. Use a complicated herbal blend like bottled bouquet garni (oregano, marjoram, rosemary, basil, sage, thyme, and dill).
