Instructions: Boil the amla in plenty of water until soft drain and dry thoroughly.
Combine all the ingredients and cook on a low heat until the mixture is thick and sticky. Store in a clean air tight jar and use within a fortnight. Fresh amla adds to the taste and nutritive value of the recipe but as it is difficult to find Ive used dried. Serves 4 Email this Recipe:
