Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
150 gm dried amla pieces soaked for 2 hours
2 tsp ginger grated
220 gm sugar
1/2 tsp chilli powder
Instructions:
Instructions: Boil the amla in plenty of water until soft drain and dry thoroughly.

Combine all the ingredients and cook on a low heat until the mixture is thick and sticky.

Store in a clean air tight jar and use within a fortnight.

Fresh amla adds to the taste and nutritive value of the recipe but as it is difficult to find Ive used dried.
