Instructions: Soak the tamarind in the hot water 30 minutes. Strain, discarding the pulp. Put the tamarind liquid into a food processor along with the sugar, chili, peanuts, and salt. Process 30 seconds, stopping to scrape down the sides of the bowl as necessary.
