Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
8 x sweet potatoes, peeled and diced
5 cup chicken stock
small pinch ground nutmeg
2 stk cinnamon, crushed
2 x cloves
1 tbl maple syrup (or more to taste)
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup Dry Sack sherry
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Instructions: Bring chicken stock, sweet potatoes, maple syrup and spices to a simmer.

Simmer until sweet potatoes can be easily crushed. Puree and return to simmer. Add cream and sherry, return just barely to a simmer. Adjust seasonings with salt, pepper and more maple syrup to taste. Strain and serve, garnished with whipped cream and dash of cinnamon.
