Instructions: Shred head of cabbage or cut thin. Brown diced onion in small amount of fat. Add cabbage, add hot water, barely covering cabbage. Add 1 ts. caraway seed. Salt. Boil 20 or 30 minutes. Add 1 T. vinegar and about the same of sugar. Mix well. Let heat through.
