1 x recipe soft Basic Polenta (see accompanying recipe)
3 tbl firmly packed brown sugar
1 tbl butter
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/8 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
1/2 cup raisins (optional)
1/2 cup Mascarpone cheese
Instructions:
Instructions: Prepare Basic Polenta to soft stage as directed in accompanying recipe (cook for 10 minutes); remove pan from the heat. Stir in the brown sugar, butter, spices and raisins, if desired. Let cool slightly. Spoon the mixture into 6 to 8 dessert dishes. Top each with mascarpone cheese and drizzle with maple syrup
