Instructions: Mix the meat, onion, egg, 1 teaspoon salt and the pepper. Form mixture into 1-inch balls; lightly roll them in the cornstarch.
Melt the fat in a deep skillet. Brown the meat balls in it. Add the stock, lemon juice, lemon, raisins and sugar. Cover and cook over low heat 35 minutes. Stir in the gingersnaps and cook additional 10 minutes. Serves 6. Email this Recipe:
