1 can sliced pineapple (or tidbits)
1 cup sugar
2 tsp cornstarch
3/4 cup cider vinegar (I use regular vinegar)
1 tsp soy sauce
1/4 tsp ginger
1 x chicken bouillon cube (or 1 T chicken soup base)
1 lrg green pepper cut in circles (optional)
Instructions:
Instructions: Tenderize ribs: put in pot with enough water to cover, add sugar. Boil a couple hours.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place meat in baking pan.

Drain pineapple, pouring syrup into 2 cup measure, add water to make 1 1/4 cup. In medium saucepan combine sugar, cornstarch, pineapple syrup, vinegar, soy sauce, ginger, and bouillon. Bring to boil, stirring constantly.

Boil 2 minutes. Pour over meat. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes. Add pineapple slices and green pepper.

Bake 30 minutes longer or until meat is tender.

*This recipe is originally for chicken and served over rice. Chicken should be browned before placing in baking dish. It can also be used for meatballs or anything you desire.
