Instructions: Heat oven to 325 degrees. Cut onion in half crosswise.
Thinly slice one half; chop remaining half and reserve. Arrange ribs in 15-by-11-inch roasting pan. Top with sliced onion. Add water to pan. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake in preheated oven 1 3/4-2 hours or until ribs are tender. Remove ribs from oven. Turn oven regulator to broil. In small bowl, combine steak sauce, chopped onion, garlic and hot pepper seasoning. Place ribs on rack in broiler pan so surface of beef is about 4 inches from heat. Brush with half of sauce. Broil 6-8 minutes or until glazed, turning once and brushing with remaining sauce.
