Amount Ingredient
2 lb chuck or bottom round roast cut 1" thick
1 env onion soup mix
1 can sliced mushrooms - (4 oz) drained
1/2 med green pepper sliced
1 can tomatoes - (20 oz) drained, chopped,
reserving liquid
Salt to taste
Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
1 tbl steak sauce
1 tbl cornstarch
Instructions:
Instructions: Place meat in slow cooker and sprinkle with soup mix. Add mushrooms, green pepper slices, and tomatoes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Combine remaining ingredients and add enough water to make 1 1/2 cups of liquid. Pour over meat and vegetables, and sprinkle with parsley flakes. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours.

This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
