Instructions: Combine whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and baking soda in a large bowl; add brown sugar, salt, onion, and dry mustard. Make a well in center of mixture.
Combine milk, oil, egg, egg whites, and hot sauce; add mixture to dry ingredients, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. Stir in shredded Swiss cheese, minced parsley, minced chives, and minced thyme. Spoon batter into an 8 1/2- x 4 1/2- x 3-inch loafpan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 375F for 50 to 55 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool in pan 10 minutes; remove loaf from pan, and let cool on a wire rack, Yield: 16 servings (140 calories per 1/2-inch slice). Email this Recipe:
