6 slc bacon cut into halves
1/3 cup finely-chopped onions
8 x eggs
1 cup milk
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp freshly-ground black pepper
1/8 tsp garlic powder
8 oz sliced Swiss cheese cut lengthwise
Instructions:
Instructions: Cook bacon until transparent and partially brown. Remove bacon from skillet, reserving 1 tbsp drippings in skillet. Drain bacon on paper towels and set aside.

Saute onions in reserved drippings until just tender. Combine onion, eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic in bowl; mix well.

Pour egg mixture into a lightly buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole. Top with cheese strips and bacon.

Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until set. Serve immediately.

This recipe yields 6 servings.
