1/2 lb Round or chuck steak
2 tbl Flour
3/4 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
3 tbl Shortening
1/2 cup Stewed tomatoes
Instructions:
Instructions: Preheat to 325. Trim fat from meat, and cut into serving pieces.Combine flour ,salt, and pepper. Sprinkle half the flour into 1 side of the meat, pound in with edge of saucer. Turn meat and repeat on other side. Heat shortening, brown meat on both sides. Add to a 13x9 baking pan. Add tomatoes and onions. Cover with foil. Bake for 2 hours.
