Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
1 cup bulgur wheat
1 cup cold water
1/2 cup minced parsley
1/2 cup minced green onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1/4 cup minced fresh mint (or 2 tbsp dry)
1 lrg tomato chopped
4 tbl lemon juice
4 tbl olive oil
Salt
Inner romaine lettuce leaves
Instructions:
Instructions: Rinse bulgur wheat several times, soak in cold water for 1 hour, drain off any remaining liquid.

Combine bulgur wheat with parsley, onion, pepper, mint, tomato, oil and lemon juice; toss gently to blend. Add salt to taste. Cover and chill several hours. To serve, mound Tabouli in a serving plate and surround with romaine leaves and tomato wedges. (You can add diced peeled cucumbers and fresh mint, also.)

Serves 6-8

Wonderful with grilled flank steak
