Instructions: Combine all the ingredients in a large heavy pot. Slowly heat to a boil while stirring. Reduce the heat and simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, 1 hour.
Using a slotted spoon, pack the vegetables into sterilized pint jars, leaving 1 inch at the top. Add the hot syrup to each jar to cover. Seal. Process in a hot water bath for 15 minutes. This recipe yields 5 to 6 pints. Yield: 5 to 6 pints Email this Recipe:
