Instructions: Cook Ziti as package directs: drain and place in a large bowl. Add 1 teaspoon liquid Butterbuds; toss until coated. Add 1 tablespoon Parmesan; toss to coat and set aside. Spray a 2-qt. casserole dish with non-fat cooking spray. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium saucepan, over low heat, combine the
1/4 cup liquid Butterbuds and flour. Whisk in milk until blended. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; boil and stir for 1 minute. Remove from heat; let stand for 5 minutes. In a small bowl, blend egg beaters with a little of the hot sauce. Stir in remaining 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese and 1/2 teaspoon salt; set aside. In large pot, saute onion and garlic in 2 tablespoons liquid Butterbuds (about 2-3 minutes). Add cooked and drained ground turkey. Add carrots and tomatoes; break up tomatoes with spoon. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook mixture, stirring occasionally (about 3 minutes). Remove pot from heat; stir in 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper. Cool for 5 minutes. Stir 1 cup grated cheese in rest of sauce. Mix in Ziti noodles. Pour the Ziti turkey sauce mixture into the prepared casserole dish. Sprinkle remaining grated cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes, or until cheese is melted and the casserole is heated through. Serves 8 Email this Recipe:
