1 x long thin french loaf
olive oil for brushing
1 x 125g jar of olive tapenade
Instructions:
Instructions: Cut the loaf diagonally into 10mm slices.

Thinly brush both sides with olive oil and spread tapenade on one side.

Top the tapenade side with a little grated cheddar and a sprinkling of paprika.

Place on lift off paper or on a well greased baking sheet and bake on the floor or the roasting oven for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown.

Serve warm.

These ore just one bite size. If you use a fatter french loaf it will make a more substantial snack or a quick starter.

Makes 18 to 24 depending on size of loaf
