Instructions: Combine marinade ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Whisk until well blended. Add sausage pieces and coat well, turning with spatula. Marinate in refrigerator at least 1 hour, turning occasionally.
To parboil onions, peel and drop them whole into boiling water for 1 minute, then plunge into cold water to cool before cutting. Pre-heat outdoor grill (or stovetop grill pan). Place sausage pieces on skewer, alternating with fruit and vegetable slices in an attractive fashion. Place kebabs on grill and brush generously with remaining marinade.
