2 lb bass fillets cut serving size
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup cornstarch
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp freshly-ground black pepper
1 x egg well beaten
1/2 cup water
Instructions:
Instructions: Combine flour, cornstarch, baking soda, salt and pepper. Beat egg and water together, add to the dry mix and stir until smooth.

Dip fish fillets in batter, and fry until golden-brown in peanut oil heated to 375 degrees.
