Instructions: Cut tomatoes into 1/2 inch-thick slices. In a medium bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper and seasoned salt. In a separate bowl, combine eggs and milk. Dip each tomato slice into milk mixture, then into flour. Repeat, coating each slice well.
Heat oil in a deep-fryer to 350 degrees; add battered tomato slices a few at a time. Cook 5 minutes or until golden brown. Note: Tomatoes also can be cooked in a heavy skillet, turning once. Makes 4 servings. Email this Recipe:
