Instructions: Yolks, sugar and salt in the top of a double boiler over hot water, stirring constantly, until mixture coats the back of a spoon. Add gelatin which has been dissolved in cold water; cool. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites and add vanilla and nutmeg. Pour into pie shell and chill. Whip cream and sweeten with sugar. Smooth on top of pie and decorate with grated chocolate.
